The Boys continues to expand its cast with the upcoming fourth season. The new supes, named Firecracker and Sister Sage, will be played by Valorie Curry and Susan Heyward, respectively. Each season in the Prime Video superhero series has introduced new characters, with Season 2 bringing Stormfront (Aya Cash) and the third season adding Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles).
The details of the new roles are kept under wraps for now, so should fans expect two new prominent cast members? Stormfront and Soldier Boy were significant plot points in their respective seasons, so Firecracker and Sister Sage will likely be an essential part of the upcoming storyline. The Boys’ official Twitter account gave fans our first look at the characters, which can be found below.

The powers of the two supes have not yet been revealed; however, fans are beginning to link Sister Sage with the Sage Grove Center psychiatric institute. Although the pair may not be linked, it’s an interesting connection nonetheless. Curry is known for her time on The Following, as well as roles in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and Blair Witch (2016). Heyward appeared in Orange Is the New Black, Delilah, and Powers. Fans will see Sister Sage’s and Firecracker’s debut when The Boys Season 4 arrives on Prime Video sometime in 2023 or early 2024.
The Boys Season 4 Has Already Seen a Few New Cast Members
Prime Video
The fourth season of The Boys is setting itself up to be the culmination of the relationship between Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), Butcher (Karl Urban), and Homelander (Antony Starr), which we’ve seen develop over the past few years. Crovetti was recently bumped up to a series regular, meaning he will have a far bigger presence than in the past. The finale of Season 3 saw Homelander lasering a protestor’s head in half while he protects his son, and if Ryan chooses to side with his dad, it could lead to apocalyptic results.
In addition to Crovetti’s promotion on The Boys, another big-name star was added to the roster earlier this year. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join the cast in Season 4, though his role is still unknown. Showrunner Eric Kripke wanted to reunite with the Supernatural star for years, finally bringing his wish to fruition. “Welcome to the fam, [Jeffrey Dean Morgan]. We’re all SO PSYCHED to have you!!,” Kripke said following the casting announcement. Morgan shared his excitement, too, saying, “Can’t tell you how excited I am! Big thanks to [Eric Kripke] and AMC Plus and The Boys for finding a way with both schedules. No easy task. SO DAMN STOKED!!”
Fans can tune into Prime Video sometime next year or in 2024 to see more of Crovetti, along with the introduction of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Valorie Curry, and Susan Heyward on The Boys.
