Gen V Features Crossover Storylines from The Boys Season 3

Michelle Fazekas and Tara Butters developed Gen V based on the original Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book. The series parodies X-Men and follows a group of young superheroes attending Godolkin University. Fans of the comic can look forward to some familiar faces as well as new characters, such as Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train, Colby Minifie’s Ashley Barrett, and P.J. Byrne’s Adam Bourke.

Eric Kripke has expressed enthusiasm for the crossover potential between The Boys and Gen V, noting how storylines from Season 3 will heavily influence events in the spinoff. With a presidential campaign in the background, viewers can expect to see some of the issues and storylines from the third season reflected in (Gen V).

This exciting new series boasts an impressive cast featuring Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Fazekas is executive producing the series with an all-star team, including Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe and Michaela Starr.

“Like there’s a presidential campaign happening in the background of that season, and there’s certain things that are happening at that school that are both in reaction to Season 3 of The Boys. There’s Soldier Boy, etcetera, but also some new storylines that are happening in that season of the spinoff that we have to pick up and take into Season 4 of the show.”

While it remains to be seen when exactly Gen V will premiere, fans of The Boys can expect the spinoff to build upon its predecessor significantly, as many exciting storylines from Season 3 of The Boys are expected to crossover into Gen V.
