Season 10 of NBC’s The Blacklist will be the drama’s final season. Before wrapping, the hit show will reach a major milestone, with its 200th episode set to air on Mar. 19.
Raymond Reddington (James Spader) will confront unparalleled danger in the tenth and final season of The Blacklist. With Reddington’s covert role as an FBI informant facing exposure, former Blacklisters will unite against him in their lethal desire for revenge - testing Red and the FBI Task Force as never before.
“After 10 years, hundreds of Blacklist cases and more than 200 episodes produced, we’re honored to reach our conclusion,” executive producer John Eisendrath said in a statement that was first reported by Deadline. “It’s been incredibly fun to create the strange, devious and delightful Blacklisters to challenge Raymond Reddington and our FBI Task Force each week. We would like to thank everyone at NBC and Sony, our extraordinary crew who make the impossible happen every day, our endlessly inventive writers and producers, and our remarkable cast who brought life to these characters. We appreciate our dedicated fanbase who came along for this wonderful ride and are excited to share this final season with them.”

The Blacklist Lost Two Main Characters for Season 10
NBC
After the series underwent major cast and crew changes in Season 8, with both its female lead Megan Boone and creator Jon Bokenkamp departing the series, it was announced that two more actors would be leaving the series following the Season 9 finale. Series stars Amir Arison, who played Aram Mojtabai, the task force’s tech person since Season 1, and Laura Sohn, who played Special Agent Alina Park since Season 7, departed the procedural after the Season 9 finale.
When a series starts hemorrhaging talent for multiple seasons in a row - no matter how good the current ratings are - it generally means it’s time for a show to end. NBC previously learned this lesson when ratings dipped in its hit 2000s comedy series Community from creator Dan Harmon, who was eventually brought back to inject the comedy back into community college.
The Blacklist returns for Season 10 on Feb. 26.
