Warner Bros. has released a supercut of all The Big Bang Theory weddings. The video release lands on the one-year anniversary of when the cast taped their final episode. In addition, star Kunal Nayyar posted a picture on social media to celebrate this anniversary. Fans have missed seeing the characters that they watched over the span of 12 seasons and 279 episodes, though they can always go back and re-watch everything now that we all have a lot of time on our hands.

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Raj Koothrappali actor Kunal Nayyar took some time out of his birthday to revisit the final day of taping The Big Bang Theory. It’s pretty easy for the actor to remember the exact date since it took place on his birthday last year. While he celebrated the show, he also had one birthday wish for friends, fans, and family to accomplish. You can read what he had to say below.

The Complete Series of this blockbuster comedy follows the hilarious trajectory of best friends Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper: geniuses in the lab and challenged in the real world. Yet both somehow manage to entangle themselves in wedded bliss: Leonard with his street-smart neighbor, Penny, and Sheldon, after a long courtship, with Amy, a successful neurobiologist. Across 12 universally beloved seasons, they and their friends-fellow scientist Howard, his adorable microbiologist wife, Bernadette, and astrophysicist bachelor Raj-attempt to solve quotidian conundrums posed by academia, family crises and video games while solving world-changing problems in physics. Proving, ultimately, that what matters most in the universe is fun, friendship and a well-founded theory. Oh, and a Nobel Prize would be nice.

The Big Bang Theory was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series from 2011 to 2014. Jim Parsons won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy four times. In total, the hit show won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations. Parsons also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series in 2011. The Big Bang Theory was a huge show and still has a huge presence in pop culture today.

“This picture was taken exactly one year ago. Our last taping of tbbt, also happened to be my birthday. As I reflect on this year, it has been one of change. But not all change is bad, for the greatest experience to come out of all the uncertainty and the turmoil has been - the realization that nothing is promised; and that has given me a sense of deep profound inner peace. Because at the end of the day, all is precious, all is precious, all is precious.”

“This birthday my only wish is for one moment today, tell someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time, that you love them. And if they look confused, just say ‘It’s Kunal’s birthday, this is his present…’ For even if one of you did this, it would be a great birthday for me, indeed:) I love you.”

The Big Bang Theory was created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom served as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro. Additionally, all three of them also served as head writers for the long-running series. The show starred Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, and Melissa Rauch.
