8 Wonder Woman - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016)

Diana Prince/Wonder woman (Gal Gadot) first featured in live-action films in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016). She makes an epic entrance timed perfectly to save Batman from imminent death as her famous soundtrack, “Is She With You?” by Hans Zimmer & Junkie XL, plays in the background. This also leads to the renowned dialogue between Batman and Superman, where Superman asks, “Is she with you?” and Batman replies, “I thought she was with you.” Her story is later narrated in the film Wonder Woman (2017).
7 Black Panther - Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) first appeared in Captain America: Civil War (2016) during Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) fight and chase scene. A mysterious masked character, Black Panther, appears out of nowhere and starts fighting Bucky. Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) can be heard asking, “Who the hell’s the other guy?”. He is later revealed to be T’Challa, King, and protector of Wakanda, a story narrated by the film Black Panther (2018).

6 Arthur Curry - Aquaman (2018)

Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) made his maiden appearance in the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), but it’s in the 2018 solo film Aquaman that his immense power is portrayed. The film begins with Aquaman rescuing a submarine crew under attack by pirates. He pushes the submarine to the surface showcasing his otherworldly strength, before getting into the vessel, posing as a hero, and gallantly and comically asking for permission to come aboard.
5 Teth-Adam - Black Adam (2022)

Black Adam first appeared in other forms of media, such as comic books, animated television shows, and animated films. However, director Jaume Collet-Serra first introduced a live Black Adam in the live-action movie Black Adam (2022), the Shazam! (2019) spin-off, a character played by Dwayne Johnson. On a mission to locate and retrieve the Crown of Sabbac, an archaeologist, Adrianna Tomaz (Sarah Shahi), and her friends are attacked by mercenaries. She is forced to read an incantation that awakens Black Adam to save their lives. An explosion results, introducing Black Adam, one knee down and covered with a hood. The following scenes portray his immense power as he fights off the mercenaries. Though he’s usually regarded as an anti-hero, the people of Kahndaq recognize him as their hero.
4 Eternals Family - Eternals (2021)

Produced by Marvel Studios, Eternals (2021) introduces viewers to a live-action film of the Eternals Family, a group of artificial supernatural and powered humanoids created by celestial being Arishem and sent to Earth to protect humans from Deviants. Say what you will about the rest of the film, but during the first 10 minutes, viewers get to see the Eternals showcase their celestial-given powers to fight off Deviants and save a fishing community on the Mesopotamia shores, and it’s a truly awesome sequence.

3 Dr. Stephen Strange - Doctor Strange (2016)
Directed by Scott Derrickson, the live-action film Doctor Strange (2016) introduces viewers to Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), a wealthy and renowned yet egotistical neurosurgeon who gets into an accident that ends his career. In a quest to find a permanent solution to his damaged hands, Strange studies under a sorcerer, The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), which leads to him becoming Sorcerer Supreme—Earth’s primary protector against mystical and magical threats. However, it’s not until Avengers: Infinity War (2018) that viewers see Doctor Strange in full action, having mastered his sorcery.
2 Thor Odinson – Thor (2011)
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) media franchise first introduced Thor Odinson in the live-action film Thor (2011). As a proud and arrogant Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is getting ready to ascend to the Asgard Throne, Frost Giants sneak into Asgard to steal back their source of power, The Casket of Ancient Winters. Thor, against his father’s orders, travels to the Frost Giants’ realm to confront their King, Laufey, destroying a truce that had been formed between the Frost Giants and the Asgardians. Angry and disappointed, Odin strips Thor of his powers and sends him to Earth to learn how to be worthy of his power.
1 Deadpool - Deadpool (2016)

A spin-off of the X-Men film series, Deadpool (2016) introduces viewers to Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), a dishonorably discharged special forces operative working as a freelance mercenary. He is diagnosed with terminal cancer and considers an experimental treatment that turns him into a not-so-good-looking anti-hero, Deadpool, who heals after getting injured. Though initially considered an anti-hero, Deadpool eventually becomes a heroic figure.
