With the release of The Batman only a week away, a brutal and bloody new poster for the DC movie teases Robert Pattinson and his merciless Dark Knight. Designed by Alon Chou in collaboration with BossLogic, the darkly stunning poster shows hard The Batman will hit crime in Gotham City, and perfectly encapsulates the rage that drives his costumed vendetta.
The poster is one of the best examples yet of this latest version of Batman’s methods, and brings star Robert Pattinson’s admittance that Bruce Wayne loves beating criminals to a pulp.
The Batman will introduce a version of the character early in his superhero career, dropping audiences into Bruce Wayne’s second year of crime-fighting, rather than retelling his origin all over again. Stalking the streets and striking fear into the hearts of criminals has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. While has managed to attain some allies, most notably Gotham PD’s James Gordon, amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante struggles to make the impact he desires.
