We reported earlier this week that actor Kevin Pennington will play S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Wendell Vaughn in The Avengers and it seems that isn’t quite the case. Kevin Pennington tweeted that he has not signed on to the superhero ensemble. Here’s what he had to say below.
The original announcement came from a Marvel Studios press release, which revealed that The Avengers will be holding a meet and greet with the cast in New York City. There were no dates or times released for the event, although it is believed to happen sometime this spring.
“Anybody an imdb expert? Need to get Avengers off there. I haven’t signed for any character in that movie.”
Kevin Pennington also tweeted that, in X-Men: First Class, Lucas Till’s Havok will be Scott Summers a.k.a. Cyclops’ father.
