Many youngsters remember their first kiss, and while on the press tour for Enola Holmes, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown commented on how her co-star Finn Wolfhard was a “lousy kisser” when it came to some of their early scenes together on the hit Netflix fantasy-horror series. Now Wolfhard has had the chance to respond to the tongue-in-cheek comments Brown made concerning his on-set lip-locking. While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Wolfhard said:
Of course, there is probably not going to be much time for kissing in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things as the franchise heads toward its epic conclusion, which is expected to see Eleven going head-to-head with Vecna and his puppet Will in a showdown that could be devastating for many of the long-standing characters.
“You know what, I was fine with it. I don’t know, it was one of those things where the first, it’s just an interesting thing when you have to, like… My first on-screen kiss was with Millie, but I didn’t know how to approach that in any way. There was no just like, ‘You’re gonna do this thing, and at the end of the take, you’re gonna kiss her.’ And then so I just, like, almost headbutted her… The romantic way of putting it was that I headbutted her, but I was twelve, so, you know. I probably would have done the same thing if I was not on screen in front of the entire world.”

Will Stranger Things Season 5 Bring the Show to a Satisfying Conclusion?
Netflix
That will most likely be a matter of opinion. Stranger Things has become a cultural phenomenon, with millions of people now fully invested in the outcome of the story that the Duffer Brothers are still writing. Like many big shows over the years, the finale will have a mixed reaction from those who love it and those who hate it. Unfortunately, there usually isn’t much scope for a middle ground in these situations.
There will likely be plenty of action, some potential character deaths, and one or two cop-outs, but after the high of season 4, there will be an almost unavoidable disappointment for some. However, the story of Stranger Things so far has done more than enough to ensure the fifth season will be another monster hit for Netflix, although with the Duffer Brother’s promising it won’t be as long as the previous season, it is looking like being a closing chapter that is all killer and no filler.
The final season will see the return of the core cast one last time, which includes David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Mille Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke and Jamie Campbell Bower who returns as the vengeful Vecna. Strange Things 5 is expected to hit Netflix in 2024.
