There’s one more season left of Stranger Things, and while the first four seasons have been acclaimed, some fans may be concerned that the final season may not be satisfying. Perhaps after shows like Game of Thrones have found great success only to end with a panned final season, the concern is certainly understandable. For what it’s worth, however, one of the show’s longtime stars feels that Stranger Things 5 will close out the story in a perfect way.

In 2016, Noah Schnapp made his debut as Will, one member of a core group of friends whose abduction kicks off the events of the series. Now, it’s looking like Will will also be a big part of how the series ends. Speaking about what’s to come in a new interview with Forbes, Schnapp provided a small tease for Stranger Things 5. He suggested that the show will “end with Will,” whatever that might mean, while noting that the way Stranger Things ends is perfect. The full quote reads:

The Duffer Brothers have also given some small teases about Stranger Things 5. Ross Duffer recently said during an FYC panel that it was “important” to wrap up the story arcs for the show’s longtime characters, which would include Will Byers, in a satisfying way.

Duffer also said that the plan was to go back to the first season in terms of tone, but that doesn’t mean things will be quite as simple as they were back then. The show’s co-creator also says that the new season will be more aligned “scale-wise” with Stranger Things 4, hoping that the new episodes will have “a little bit of everything.”

The first four seasons of Stranger Things are streaming on Netflix; season 5 does not yet have a premiere date.
