Eleven is faced with the horror of high school and the terror of bullies, and is oddly powerless to do anything about either in a newly released clip from Stranger Things Season 4. Released courtesy of Twitter user THE STARCOURT FOODCOURT, the clip sees Millie Bobby Brown return to the role of Eleven, who is clearly feeling alone as she attempts to enter some semblance of ordinary life. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot more wrong than she first thought…
As you can see in the clip, Eleven seems to have lost her powers of telekinesis. While reacting to the bullies using her powers would certainly not have been a bright idea, they clearly deserve it. Lucky for them, but seriously unlucky for Eleven, raising her hand as she has done so many times before to unleash her power results in nothing but laughter from her peers. The second-hand embarrassment, however, is extremely powerful indeed.

While it remains a mystery why Eleven has been left powerless, it no doubt has something to do with the latest villain of Stranger Things. Named Vecna after the Dungeons & Dragons character of the same name, the latest bad guy looks to be more of a threat than Eleven and the rest of the gang has ever faced and could be the reason behind her lack of abilities.
The recent trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 has also seemingly suggested that Max will gain powers similar to Eleven’s. Could they have been exchanged somehow? Whatever the case, it is likely to be just one of many mysteries presented by the fourth season of the hit Netflix show.
