Given how multiverses have theoretically made anything possible in comic book movies and TV shows, there’s no telling who we might see making a sudden appearance from the past in something new. As the star of the hit series Arrow, which spawned the “Arrowverse” consisting of many other tie-in shows, Stephen Amell could make a return to his Green Arrow role, perhaps in the DCU or elsewhere. But would the actor even be interested after already saying his goodbyes to Arrow?

This is a question that came up during a recent interview with Michael Rosenbaum on the Inside of You podcast (via ComicBook.com). Amell says that a return isn’t out of the question, but it would “depend” on certain factors. Satisfactory compensation is a consideration, but as he’d only want to appear briefly in the role if he were to reprise it, Amell realizes he wouldn’t get all that much money anyway from the offer. But he’d still be up for coming back if it were for something special that could surprise the fans in a big way when it happens. As the actor explains:

The Arrowverse Is Coming to an End

     The CW

The Arrowverse has expanded greatly with many different shows, but it all comes to an end this year. As it’s been revealed that Superman & Lois is not set in the Arrowverse, that means The Flash is the last of the Arrowverse shows that’s still on the air. The series will soon premiere its ninth and final season, and as there are no more shows set in that world that are in production, this would seem to mean that the Arrowverse has ended.

As Amell noted above, however, special appearances from people in that universe could happen anytime, so fans shouldn’t give up hope on seeing Oliver Queen and their other favorites from the Arrowverse in the future.
