No Way Home: A Marvel Game-Changer

Marvel fans, ranging from the casual consumer to the full-blown fanatic, strapped into their theater seats, ready to be wowed. It is safe to say that Spider-Man: No Way Home did not disappoint. Rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s cameos were circulating for a while before the film came out, especially after it was confirmed that some familiar and formidable villains would be in it. Theater and online reactions to the collaboration of Spider-Men were vast. Talk about a viral moment for Marvel! In addition to being the best character development Holland’s Spider-Man has undergone in the MCU so far, the fan service throughout the film left audiences full to the brim with satisfaction. The Multiverse has opened endless possibilities for Marvel hero storylines, and this movie is just a taste of what can be coming.
What is “More Fun Stuff?”
Now, just in case you don’t know, it was announced a while ago that an extended cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home was going to be released. Spider-Man: No Way Home: The More Fun Stuff is for anyone who just couldn’t get enough of Peter 1, Peter 2, and Peter 3. The celebration of Spider-Man’s 60-year anniversary was incredibly fitting for this kind of release. In the More Fun Stuff Version, we are welcomed with bonus content with the cast (which has all of our favorite Peters having a little chat together before the film actually starts, per Digital Trends). In addition to all that, we are gifted with a few extended and brand-new scenes that never made the original cut, including a very awkward elevator ride with the villains, a cameo from Holland’s brother, and much more.
Which One is Better? It Depends. Here’s Why.

MCU movies have secured a special ranking in the realm of putting out long movies. As the franchise continues to grow, the movies are getting more and more complicated, intricate, and long (in terms of runtime). This aspect of movie-watching is incredibly divisive. People love all the content, the long stories, and some people are wondering why they are losing feeling in their bottom half for sitting for so long. In terms of this movie, it’s time to trust your own judgment. Spider-Man: No Way Home does a great job of keeping the story developing through entertaining action sequences, emotionally-charged scenes, and fan service. Including old Spider-Man movie villains, as well as the return of Maguire and Garfield, was a movie-watching experience for the record books. Honestly, The More Fun Stuff Version is for fans of the original release or the franchise as a whole. If you want to see more, this is something great for Marvel to do. Are the extra scenes and bonus features critical to the story? No way! However, if you loved the original, you will 100% appreciate more content.
