The official synopsis for Slumberland is as follows:

Slumberland Is Based on a Comic Book Series

     Netflix

The concept of Slumberland is directly inspired by the comic book series Little Nemo in Slumberland by Winsor McCay. That comic follows a young boy named Nemo who’d embark on amazing dreams that would ultimately be interrupted by him waking up in the final panel. The comic has inspired multiple other adaptations in the past in various mediums, such as the 1989 animated movie Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. The Nintendo Entertainment System video game Little Nemo: The Dream Master also takes inspiration from the original story along with the animated film. An opera based on Little Nemo hit the stage in 2012 as well.

Slumberland will premiere on Netflix on Nov. 18, 2022. It will be streaming on the Netflix app as well as at Netflix.com. You can check out the new key art for the film below.
