The Boulet Brothers are making their way back to Shudder and AMC+ this October with The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans. The Boulet Brothers Dragula spinoff will premiere with two episodes on October 25th, Deadline reports. New episodes will then air on subsequent weeks. The series will be hosted by The Boulet Brothers, who started the original reality series in 2016 featuring drag competitors who embrace the darker aspects of the art form. The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans will feature contestants from previous seasons.
Just like in the previous seasons, contestants must rely on their drag artistry skills and oftentimes horrifying physical competitions to secure a grand prize of $100,000. The winner will also secure the first ever Dragula Titans crown and title and headline an upcoming world tour. The battle for the throne will take place in a haunted mansion that has been named the underworld.
“We wanted the show to feel familiar to fans, but we also wanted the set and format to feel elevated from a regular season in order to match the incredible talent of the artists we’ve brought together,” the Boulet Brothers said in a statement. “There are so many shocking twists and turns this year that the competitors affectionately renamed the show Gagula during filming, and we really can’t wait for audiences to see it – this show is truly the most compelling content we’ve created to date.”

While a list of cast mates has not been revealed, horror fans can be excited about the announced series judges that include big names in the genre like Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Harvey Guillen (What We Do In The Shadows), Justin Simien (director of Disney’s upcoming Haunted Mansion), Joe Bob Briggs (Last Drive In), and Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), among others.
The series marks the first project stemming from the brothers’ multi-project deal with AMC/Shudder, which was announced just last month and also includes a new season of the original series and an additional special.
The Boulet Brothers have also appeared on the popular Shudder series Behind the Monsters and The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. This year, the two graced the cover of Fangoria, where they were labeled “Horror’s New Icons.”
“The Boulet Brothers and our previous ‘Dragula’ series have attracted a wonderfully passionate, engaged and diverse fanbase and we’re delighted to bring them even more of the content they crave with this next competition series, especially during our biggest, most celebrated month of the year,” saidCraig Engler, GM of Shudder.
