Marvel has debuted a mid-season sneak peek for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, featuring a new look at Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Like Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk, played by Tatiana Maslany, Murdock is also a lawyer who moonlights as a superhero and will be making his second MCU appearance in the second half of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

She-Hulk episode 4 seemingly set up his arrival, thanks to Titania’s (Jameela Jamil) latest devious scheme of trademarking the “She-Hulk” pseudonym and suing Walters for copyright infringement. Jameel really wasn’t kidding when she said Titania would be the most “annoying” MCU villain. So far, we haven’t seen her much in She-Hulk, but that’s about to change. You can check out the new trailer below.

The clip opens with Titania promoting She-Hulk, her new cosmetic line, while Jennifer Walters goes for some legal advice. Fans were expecting Matt Murdock to turn up to help Walters solve her legal troubles, but it appears he’ll be playing a mentor-like role instead. It’s unclear when Daredevil will make his debut, but director Kat Coiro told TV Line that he’ll appear “later in the season.”

“I think you’re in a unique position to do some real good,” Murdock says in a brief pep talk. “Jen Walters can use the law to help people when society fails; She-Hulk can help people when the law fails.” There’s also a playful fourth wall break as Walters gets excited seeing Daredevil in action, “This guy is really kinda doing it for me.”

And we’ll also get to see more of Wong (Benedict Wong) and his new BFF, Madisynn King (Patty Guggenheim).

She-Hulk Has Been A Breath Of Fresh Air For The MCU, But Not Everyone Is Onboard

If you look past the short episode lengths and the sub-par visual effects, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is actually quite enjoyable. It’s not as dark or overly campy as some of Marvel’s recent outings, but a blend of both, with some intriguing plot arcs. Though, it can be a bit silly at times. And the Ally McBeal-inspired legal comedy setting of She-Hulk is a first for the MCU.

However, some fans are really up in arms about She-Hulk. The character has always been light-hearted in nature, unlike her rageful cousin Bruce Banner/Hulk, but that’s partly the reason behind She-Hulk’s underwhelming audience reception: the continued “mistreatment” of Hulk. However, the show seems to be setting up a larger role for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in the MCU, and a solo movie is said to be in the works as well.

She-Hulk has also been review bombed by trolls, mainly due to Walters’ “cat calling” monologue, which some people found offensive and in poor taste. The infamous term “woke” has also been thrown around, and last week’s episode which saw Walters twerking with Megan Thee Stallion only added fuel to the fire. But She-Hulk is getting better with each episode, and we’re only at the halfway point right now. It remains to be seen what more surprises the show has in store for its fans.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law airs weekly on Disney+, with episode 5 premiering on Thursday, September 15.
