A new poster for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has Tatiana Maslany’s jade giantess heading into the courtroom. Unveiled courtesy of Twitter, the poster puts the character’s giant green feet at the center, with Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk no doubt on her way to defend the rights of a similarly super-powered individual.
Carrying an attaché case and dressed for court, the new poster also confirms the new titled change for the Disney+ series, which was first revealed thanks to yesterday’s trailer. So, instead of simply going by She-Hulk, the series will instead be titled She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. A title which suggests in no uncertain terms that the series will likely avoid Avenger-level threats, and will instead center on Walters’s job as a lawyer who specializes in cases involving superhumans.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a straight-up comedy from Marvel Studios, which sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too. Now able to become the 6-foot-7, green superhero known as She-Hulk, Jennifer is put in charge of handling cases involving other superhumans. Including the likes of ex-Hulk villain, The Abomination.
The series is led by Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk, with Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo due to reprise his role as Bruce Banner AKA The Hulk. Actor Tim Roth also returns, reprising his role as Emil Blonsky AKA Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, with Benedict Wong starring once again as Wong, The Sorcerer Supreme who was shown assisting The Abomination during the events of Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.
The rest of the supporting cast is comprised of Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki, Walters’ best friend; Jameela Jamil as Titania, a rival of She-Hulk with incredible strength; as well as Renée Elise Goldsberry, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Anais Almonte, Nicholas Cirillo, and David Otunga.
Is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law a Bit of a Mess?
Marvel Studios
While the trailer has offered our first insight into what to expect from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, reports and rumors from behind the scenes have claimed that the series is a bit of a “mess,” and could even result in one of the franchise’s first failings.
Former The Hollywood Reporter editor and Puck co-founder Matthew Belloni said recently, “The upcoming She-Hulk is supposedly a mess, I’ve heard (even with Mark Ruffalo in a small role), and Ms. Marvel is another big test for fans. Nobody’s saying Marvel’s TV output is in trouble, but it’s something to keep an eye on."
While She-Hulk: Attorney at Law looks like a slightly different take on the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could Marvel Studios have really messed up as badly as certain reports have suggested? Audiences will have to wait a few months to find out, with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law now scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on August 17, 2022. The series will consist of nine episodes and is part of Phase Four of the MCU.
