Ongoing Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has already proven to be overflowing with fun Easter eggs and references for fans. And the Disney+ series may have just made the most exciting reference so far, alluding to the existence of beloved X-Men member Wolverine during the latest episode.
Following some employment woes during the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, “Superhuman Law,” Jennifer Walters turns to a website that suggests “Offbeat Jobs for a Fresh Start.” Looking closely at the articles down the side of the site (via Twitter user @SheHulkSource), eagle-eyed fans have spotted a headline that reads, “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl," which can only be a reference to a certain adamantium claw-wielding, cigar-chomping, spiky-haired mutant.
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
Thanks to the events of the previous Marvel series Ms. Marvel, mutants have now been fully introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thus, it can only be a matter of time before we start to see more from Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men now that they fall under the Marvel Studios umbrella. What exactly Marvel has planned for Logan and his mutant pals is currently unknown, but such clear references certainly suggest that it won’t be long before Wolverine joins the likes of She-Hulk, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man on screen.
Could We One Day See a Wolverine Versus Berserker Hulk Movie?
Marvel Comics
One MCU character that Wolverine has come up against rather famously in the pages of Marvel Comics is The Incredible Hulk. While Bruce Banner currently has his big, green alter ego under control, there is no reason why this can’t change in future, with Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo even suggesting as much in a recent interview.
So, rather than introducing Wolverine in an X-Men movie, could Marvel Studios perhaps instead bring the beloved mutant into the fray with a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie? No doubt fans would love to see it happen, with many clamoring not only for the introduction of Wolverine, but also for the return of an angry Hulk.
For now, we still have the rest of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law to sit back and enjoy while keeping our eyes peeled for Easter eggs. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the MCU’s first sitcom, and follows Jennifer Walters, a single attorney in her 30s, whose life becomes even more complicated when she is suddenly able to become a 6-foot-7-inch green superhero after an accident.
Starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk alongside Mark Ruffalo, Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, and Charlie Cox, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered on August 18, 2022, and has been met with largely positive reviews from critics. The series will consist of nine episodes as part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
