It was a scary time for Sharon Osbourne when she was rushed to a California hospital on Friday, but the good news is that she’s now back home. While it’s unclear exactly what happened, Osbourne had been on set filming an episode of Travel Channel’s Night of Terror when she suffered a “medical emergency,” resulting in her hospitalization. Her son, Jack Osbourne, has provided more information on social media, letting fans know that Sharon is doing better.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, Jack Osbourne wrote:
Per TMZ, filming occurred at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula. The same building was featured on a previous episode of Ghost Adventures, which seems to have led to some confusion as to what the Osbournes were filming. Previous episodes of Night of Terror, another Travel Channel show, follow the Osbournes investigating reports of hauntings and paranormal phenomena.
“Ok here is what I’ll say – first things first MY MOTHER WASN’T FILMING AN EPISODE OF [Ghost Adventures]. She was filming a new episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha. Not that we have made that clear… She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home. Than[k] you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As to what happened to my mum – I’m going to leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”

Sharon Osbourne Has More Reality Television in the Works
Travel Channel
Osbourne had been a mainstay on The Talk, joining the show in 2010 and serving as a co-host until she left controversially last year. However, Osbourne has continued to work and even hosts a separate prime-time show also called The Talk for TalkTV in the UK. She was also recently the subject of the documentary Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back. Since The Osbournes, she has also continuously appeared in reality shows with her family, such as Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour and The Osbournes Want to Believe.
There are plans for the Osbournes to feature in a new reality series in the UK following her exit from The Talk. It was reported that the series, dubbed Home to Roost, picks up with Sharon and Ozzy settling back into life in the UK after leaving the United States. Along with the move, the series is also said to document Sharon’s 70th birthday, Kelly’s pregnancy, and Ozzy’s tour. However, it’s not yet clear if Sharon’s recent health emergency will be touched on in the show.
