The Ghostface in the upcoming slasher sequel Scream VI is unlike any other Ghostface before as he looms over the Big Apple and his assortment of victims on the latest poster. Following the release of the latest trailer for Scream VI, which finds the killer slashing his way through New York City, Paramount Pictures and the official Scream Twitter account have unveiled a new poster for the horror outing, which gives us another look at the main players, as well as the return of Scream 4 star Hayden Panettiere. Check out the new poster for Scream VI below.
Alongside showing us the core cast, the poster finds Ghostface standing in the middle of Manhattan with blade in hand. No doubt the killer will have a bloody good time slicing and dicing his way through the heavily-crowded metropolis.

Thus, the Scream franchise will undergo a change of scenery in Scream VI, shifting the serial killer and his horrific antics from the Californian towns of Woodsboro to New York, New York. Scream VI will follow the four survivors of the Ghostface killings in this year’s Scream as they leave Woodsboro in hopes of starting a fresh chapter. But, sadly, their hopes will quickly be dashed when someone new begins sporting the Ghostface mask and tormenting them all once again.
As fans of the franchise will know, this is far from the first time that the Scream series has taken the iconic killer out of Woodsboro, with only the original Scream, Scream 4, and last year’s offering taking place in the small California town. Still, seeing the slasher action take place amid the hustle and bustle of New York City should be a grim treat.
