The cast of Daredevil: Born Again is coming together. When the series was first announced, it was revealed that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio would be reprising their respective roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. That wasn’t a major shocker as both actors had already returned in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point, with Cox popping up in Spider-Man: No Way Home while D’Onofrio had a major presence in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. Now, however, more names are reportedly getting added to the cast.

Recently, it was reported that Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark) would be making his MCU debut with an unnamed role in the show. Variety now reports that Sandrine Holt (The Expanse, Better Call Saul) and Margarita Levieva (The Deuce, In From the Cold) have also joined the cast. No details have been revealed about the characters the new additions are to portray.

Holt recently appeared in the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul, which includes a key scene in the finale, as the wife of Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian). She also recently appeared in American Gigolo with her previous small screen work including MacGyver, The Crossing, Homeland, and Fear the Walking Dead. Levieva, meanwhile, is attached to the upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte following roles in other shows like Revenge, The Blacklist, and Litvinenko.

Who Else Will Appear in Daredevil: Born Again?

Many fans of the previous Daredevil series are probably wondering if there will be any other familiar faces popping up aside from Cox and D’Onofrio. It’s unknown at this time, but Cox addressed the possibility at a recent appearance at German Comic Con Winter Edition, via Collider. Even Cox doesn’t yet know if fans will see others like Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson. However, he’s hoping that it’s something that will happen.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen with the other characters in the new show, but I know for a fact that Elden and Deborah were the heartbeat(s) of what we did before, and the show is a success because of them,” Cox said.

What we know is that the series will be written by Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs). It is set to arrive on Disney+ sometime in early 2024 with an exact date yet to be announced. It’s also going to be much longer than most of those MCU-set shows on Disney+, as Daredevil: Born Again will reportedly span a whopping 18 episodes.
