As far as bromances go, there are few bigger than that of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and it seems that Reynolds really would love to see his best bud join him in the upcoming Deadpool 3. Having already appeared together in another world, also known as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, when Reynolds made his first Marvel appearance as Wade Wilson even though it was not the greatest debut in history, Reynolds would love to see Jackman being brought back just one more time in his MCU introduction.
During an interview with ComicBook.com, Reynolds was asked about the possible reunion between the two actors sometime in the future, and as part of his answer, he urged fans to contact Kevin Feige and anyone else to petition for the Australian’s involvement in Deadpool 3. He said:

As if that wasn’t enough for those hoping to see Reynolds and Jackman reunite on-screen again soon, The Adam Project director Shawn Levy, who has also been tapped to direct Deadpool 3, added that he definitely has plans to try and get the pair back together again. He said, “I’m not going to say where and how, but I absolutely will confirm my intention and determination to be the lucky son of a bitch who puts those two magnificent gods in the same movie together. That will happen and it will be me."
“That would be amazing. I say write to Kevin Feige, care of Marvel Cinematic Universe at whatever Buena Vista Way. I don’t know where it is, but yeah, that would be nice. That would be a dream. That would be dream come true.”
Deadpool 3 Is In Active Development and Will See the R-Rated Character Arrive in the MCU
20th Century Fox
All Marvel attention is now on the multiverse and the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and with rumors already circulating that many characters could make their debuts in the crazy sequel, Deadpool is very much top of many wish lists. As of now, there are some confirmed appearances, but Ryan Reynolds’ fourth-wall-breaking Merc With a Mouth is not one of them.
Despite that, it has been confirmed that Deadpool 3 is in active development by Kevin Feige and Reynolds himself, who recently told Variety that the script was moving along. In January last year, Feige reassured fans in an interview with Collider that he would be exactly the same character that audiences have come to love and will not be watered down as a family version. He said:
“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”
