After dying, she finds herself back at her birthday party earlier that night. Sausage Party was, at one point in time, the most financially successful R-rated animated film ever made. The crass stoner-comedy, co-directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, told the story of Frank, a sentient grocery store sausage that, after a horrifying discovery, is tasked with saving his fellow foods from the clutches of their human tormentors. Relativity Media’s President of Worldwide Production Tucker Tooley announced today the studio has optioned the feature film rights for Voltron: Defender of the Universe from World Event Productions, and will adapt the live-action big screen version from the 1984 cult-classic animated series Voltron: Defender of the Universe. The project was brought to Relativity through their deal with Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, whose company will shepherd the project....

A few days ago, Netflix released a 12-second clip to promote the Stranger Things Season 2 panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con and it subtly paid tribute to Barb from the first season by showing the pool that she disappeared from. Underneath the video was a caption that read “Nothing ever went back to normal.” And now we have the first full length trailer for Stranger Things Season 2 and it looks like we’re all in for a frightening treat when October rolls around....
The adventures of Stranger Things are officially expanding into the world of comic books. Netflix has entered into a partnership with the folks at Dark Horse Comics in order to publish stories based on the hit sci-fi series. The books will give fans “an opportunity to explore the mysterious world of Hawkins, Indiana.” At the very least, this will help fill the gap and make the long wait between seasons a little shorter....
