Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren are reuniting once again for an all-new action drama TV series. Hailing from Tony Krantz’s Flame Ventures, the project is executive produced by Stallone and will star Lundgren in the lead role. Reportedly, the project was sold at all three broadcast network pitch meetings for Fox, CBS, and NBC, also drawing attention from streamers Netflix and Apple. Stallone may also direct the pilot, with writer Ken Sanzel (Numbers) serving as showrunner and exec producing along with Stallone, Krantz, Balboa Productions’ Braden Aftergood, and Zero Gravity’s Craig Baumgarten....

Stardust is making its way to the DVD shelves on December 18. The disc will be available in both widescreen and fullscreen formats, although no pricing details have been released as of yet. This movie, based off a novel by Neil Gaiman, stars Claire Danes, Michelle Pheiffer, Charlie Cox and Robert De Niro. A charmingly naive boy from the English village of Wall travels to a magical, mythical world in search of the falling star that will help him win the heart of his true love in this fantasy adventure starring Charlie Cox, Claire Danes, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ricky Gervais, and Sienna Miller....

Stephen King published his novel The Regulators in 1996, more than two decades after his first book Carrie. Unlike King’s other titles, The Regulators did not carry his name. But instead, the novel was written under the name Richard Bachman. In fact, The Regulators was the sixth in a series of books devised under the name Bachman. However, this book was unique. The Regulators is said to be one of Stephen King’s only works published after he retired the name Bachman, making it a posthumous publication....

THOSE ’70s SHOWS TO GO ONLINE Ushering in the era of television over the Internet, Warner Bros. and corporate Time Warner sibling AOL have announced their most elaborate collaboration ever – the creation of a website called In2TV, where broadband users can watch some 14,000 episodes from more than 300 Warner-produced TV series on demand. The shows, which include Falcon Crest, Kung Fu, Chico and the Man, Wonder Woman, and Welcome Back, Kotter, will be available free but will carry four 15-second commercials per half-hour....

Supernatural is getting ready to debut what could be their craziest season ever, where the Winchester Brothers battle Adolf Hitler and a new Lucifer, played by Rick Springfield, but is the show also prepping its endgame? The show’s stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles and executive producer Robert Singer recently teased that they’ve been eyeing the 300th episode to wrap up the series, although that’s still a long way off. If they do hit that mark, the 300th episode should fall right in the middle of Season 14....

Supernatural season 15 will feature the return of Emily Swallow’s The Darkness. Swallow confirmed the news on social media with an image from the set with co-star Rob Benedict. This should be huge news for fans of the show who haven’t see The Darkness since the season 11 finale back in May 2016. The hit series held its last San Diego Comic-Con panel last month and it was an emotional moment for fans and the cast, who are all sad to see Supernatural come to a close after 15 seasons....

The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will be coming to your street on April Fools Day. Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that Sweeney Todd will be released on DVD and HD DVD on April 1. The film will be released in a single-disc edition and a two-disc edition along with the HD DVD version. No pricing has been listed. The film stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall and Sacha Baron Cohen....

The Academy Twitter account officially announced the nominees for the upcoming 94th Oscars earlier this morning. The nominees for Best Animated Short Film were five in total, one of them you can see right now for free courtesy of The New Yorker. The short is called Affairs of the Art, and it perfectly illustrates the obsession that comes with being a creative individual. The short follows Beryl, a woman who feels like her best years are behind her....

Hand-to-hand combat has been a part of human existence since Cain and Abel. Picking a fight turned the tides of history, but in the boxing ring, it became a sport of agility, endurance, and strength. Pugilism is perhaps the best sport for the underdog archetype, complete with rags-to-riches and redemption storylines....

With almost a quarter of the 21st century having passed, it’s probably appropriate to look back on some of the defining cinema of the century so far. There were highs and lows, good movies and bad ones, but it wouldn’t be the same without the massive fantasy franchises which dominated them. Some movies may have already begun to fade into obscurity, some are still fresh out of the theaters, and some have become household names due to their popularity, so there’s never a lack of something worth rewatching....

Bill Engvall is best known for his stand-up comedy as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. He also co-starred on Blue Collar TV, a sketch show on the now defunct WB. Here, he plays Bill Pearson, a family therapist with a family of his own – his wife, Susan (played by Nancy Travis) and his three children. Again, the plots of the first two or three episodes aren’t really anything new, but there’s definitely some laughs left to mine from some of this material....

We now know when Homelander will be flying back onto the scene as the official release date for season 3 of The Boys has been revealed. New episodes are scheduled to hit Prime Video on June 3, 2022, beginning with the first three episodes of the season.
