We will find out soon enough come March, and until then, the hype train will keep moving. Teasing how excellent the movie is turning out, producer Dylan Clark tells Empire that the plan is for this to be the very best Batman movie yet. As one of today’s most popular actors, Ryan Reynolds always seems to be working on something new for the big screen, but as of now, he’s taking a bit of a break. The Satanic Temple has accused Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina of appropriation over a Baphomet statue. The giant statue can be seen in the show’s Academy Of Unseen Arts, which is where witches go to learn about sacred geometry and the dark arts. The new Netflix series is an adaptation of the supernatural Archie Comics story, and so far, it’s been a pretty big hit. Production has already started on Season 2, but the Satanic Temple is not happy about the show’s use of the Baphomet design, and they want it changed immediately....

Saturday Night Live took on the results of the 2020 presidential election by spoofing presidential-elect Joe Biden’s acceptance speech and mocking Donald Trump in multiple sketches. Hours before the show, Biden had been called as the winner of the race, though Trump has alleged voter fraud and insists that he is the real winner. In any case, SNL was quick to take on the election results starting with the new episode’s opening segment....

SCI FI Channel has upped its episode order for season 4 of its Peabody Award-winning original series Battlestar Galactica from 13 to 22 episodes. This will include a special two-hour extended event that will air during fourth quarter 2007 and be released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment thereafter. Currently approaching its stunning season 3 finale on Sunday, March 25, 2007, production on the new season of Battlestar Galactica will begin in May with an eye to an early 2008 premiere....

Scream 6 will be far more “mortifying” than anything that has come before, declares star Melissa Barrera. Speaking with Collider, Barrera, who joined the slasher franchise in this year’s Scream aka Scream 5, described how the change of setting from Woodsboro, California, to New York City will increase the terror that will once again be carried out by Ghostface. While the actress quickly realized that she may have revealed far too much already, Barrera explained how being chased by Ghostface is so much scarier in New York compared to Woodsboro....

Woody Harrelson has joined the cast of Seven Psychopaths, taking over the gangster role which Mickey Rourke was once in talks for. Olga Kurylenko and Tom Waits have also joined the cast in unknown roles. Ironically, we reported last month that Mickey Rourke dropped out of The Expendables 2 to focus on Seven Psychopaths, where he would have played a gangster whose dog is kidnapped. However, a deal was never made with Mickey Rourke, which opened the door for Woody Harrelson to step in....

Sheryl Lee Ralph has been acting since 1977, but has recently become a hit across generations after starring in season one of the hit show Abbott Elementary. Over the course of her extensive acting career, she has starred in dozens of film, television, and Broadway productions. Most recently, Ralph received the Order of Jamaica and has been seen out and about at some of the movie premieres. Earlier this year, she also received an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, making her the second Black woman in history to receive this award....

Sidney is Sidney Poitier in his own words — and that’s what makes the Apple documentary such a fascinating and reverent look into the late actor’s life and legacy. Produced by Oprah Winfrey, Sidney made its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival 2022. Per The Hollywood Reporter, co-producer Derik Murray first pitched the documentary to Poitier and his wife Joanna Shimkus back in the summer of 2018. In fall 2019, director Reginald Hudlin signed on, and then, in June 2020, Hudlin pitched the film to Winfrey and her team at Harpo via a Zoom call....

Now that FX has found its leading man for their Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC, with JD Pardo coming aboard to play Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, the cast continues to grow. Into the Badlands star Sarah Bolger has signed on to play another leading role in this highly-anticipated drama series. Production on the pilot episode is said to begin later this month, so this could be the first in a wave of new casting announcements for this spin-off....
