Animation fans rejoice because on November 7 The Complete Harveytoons Collection is coming to DVD! On Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, Classic Media will release the full series - all 312 shorts - of Harveytoons’ memorable cartoons in a 4-disc DVD collection. The cartoons, available on DVD for the first time ever, were originally created in the 1940s and ’50s, and have been digitally restored. Casper The Friendly Ghost, is Harveytoons’ most famous and original character, and the second most recognizable character of all time....

Nowadays, Cobie Smulders is best known as Agent Maria Hill, the whip-smart second-in-command to Nick Fury in the MCU, but before that, Smulders did nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother, where she debuted her alter ego ‘Robin Sparkles’, the hyper-chipper Canadian teen pop star. Among the new delays and announcements from Warner Bros. Discovery, which saw Aquaman and Shazam sequels both being pushed down the schedule, the new adaptation of Salem’s Lot has lost its release date to Evil Dead Rise. Originally, Salem’s Lot was set to be released in April 2023, but after Warner Bros. Discovery decided to movie Evil Dead Rise from an HBO Max exclusive to a theatrical release, it seems that Salem’s Lot is now another movie at the studio with an uncertain future....

Seth Green has joined the cast of Old Dogs, the John Travolta-Robin Williams comedy Walt Becker is directing for the Walt Disney Co. David Diamond and David Weissman wrote the script. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Old Dogs is a buddy comedy revolving around two best friends and business partners whose lives are turned upside down when they find themselves taking care of 7-year-old twins. Green will play an executive with the global marketing firm run by Travolta and Williams’ characters as they are closing a big deal with a Japanese conglomerate....

After successful runs with the big screen blockbuster comedy Ted and an appearance on Saturday Night Live, Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane has decided to make his second foray into live action television. The comedy will be co-written and executive produced by Ted writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. The premise revolves around two successful men in their thirties who have their fathers unexpectedly move in with them....

Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, which was released in 2019, follows Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he investigates the Thrombey family after the death of their patriarch. It seemed to reinvigorate the mystery genre with its clever story and excellent cast. It quickly became acclaimed and beloved, and led to a sequel in Glass Onion – with a third film in development. It’s probably just a matter of time before we see a live-action Spider-Gwen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but when that moment comes, who will be playing her?
