Their first film, Toy Story (1995), changed the landscape of animation and ‌movies‌. They have released 26 films, most recently, Lightyear, since 1995, continuing their legacy of pushing the boundaries of animation further. Pixar has won 11 Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature, with another five nominations....

The Boys is currently airing its third season, one episode per week. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds wants to unite with his Wrexham A.F.C. co-owner Rob McElhenney on the latter’s hit sitcom, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Appearing together courtesy of Buzzfeed, Reynolds states that he would love to cameo in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with McElhenney knowing exactly how he could make it work. “I’m personally offended that I was never asked,” Reynolds says regarding appearing in the show, which first premiered on FX all the way back in 2005 and has since had 15 seasons....

Looks like we’ll find out in Soft & Quiet, a new film produced by Jason Blum that follows a group of women, an incident at a store, and the aftermath that follows. Deadline confirmed Momentum Pictures had picked up the distribution rights for Soft & Quiet in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in October. The trailer and release date for the film was revealed just a week later....

The response to Daniel Craig’s last Bond movie, No Time to Die, was almost universally positive, which is quite staggering considering the uproar less than two decades earlier regarding his casting as 007. He now leaves in his wake bereft fanboys, and a Golden Eye question on who is going to succeed him, which will inevitably cause quite the controversial stir just like their predecessor. Paramount Pictures is edging ever closer to boldly going where no one has gone before, with production of Star Trek 4 now nearing the “starting line.” Speaking with Variety, Paramount Pictures President Brian Robbins has offered a promising update regarding the Star Trek sequel, revealing that conversations with J.J. Abrams are finally happening, and that the studio are aiming to bring back the likes of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and the rest of the Kelvin timeline cast....

Everyone’s favorite Mandalorian foundling Grogu (more commonly known as Baby Yoda or The Child) has grown stronger throughout the first and second seasons of The Mandalorian and, most recently, The Book of Boba Fett. It stands to reason that this trend will continue as Grogu himself continues to hone his power throughout the upcoming season three of the popular Star Wars spinoff. While Grogu’s origins remains a mystery, any fan of Star Wars knows that Grogu is a member of the same unknown species as Yoda and Jedi Master Yaddle and that this unnamed species has a deep connection to The Force....

Star Wars made its comeback in 2015 with its new sequel trilogy. Its first installment, The Force Awakens, was generally well-received by critics and audiences, who praised its new planet settings, heroes, and villains. Fast-forward to 2017, The Last Jedi picks up immediately after the events of its predecessor. Unlike The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi received some harsh criticism across the board for its treatment of Luke Skywalker, its seemingly invincible protagonist, Rey, and its overall execution, but criticism is subjective....

Isn’t it odd that some of the most compelling, likable and distinct characters of Star Wars are a series of soldiers who all share the same face and voice? Ever since Dave Filoni’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the clones first featured in the Star Wars prequels have become exceptionally compelling. The prequels themselves don’t do all that much to characterize them, so the Star Wars TV series had to do the work to give them personality and individuality....

While we reported last week that director Stephen Daldry was a candidate to direct The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Daldry has sealed the deal on a new, totally different film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Daldry will direct the big screen adaptation of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. The film is based off the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, a 9-11-themed book that centers on Oskar Schell, an ambitious young nine-year-old who scours New York City in search of a lock that a key his father left him will open....

Funko is definitely best known for their Pop! vinyl, large headed figures, but now they’ve made action figures for Netflix’s wildly popular Stranger Things series and they’re pretty cool looking. This isn’t Funko’s first foray into the world of action figures. The toy company also has a popular set of DC heroes that are Batman toys modeled after the 1960’s television show. In addition to the action figures, Funko has also unveiled two Stranger Things Pop!...

WILL BORAT’S GLORY EXTEND THROUGH WEEK 2? Twentieth Century Fox film executives are insisting that they were justified in reducing the number of theaters showing Boratto 837 prior to last weekend’s opening. The film took in $26.5 million, an unprecedented figure for a film opening in so few theaters. Fox distribution chief Bruce Snyder claims that the decision to cut the number of theaters by nearly two thirds will work in favor of the movie next weekend because its initial success will increase awareness of it....

THE EMMYS SHINE AGAIN After two years of record-low ratings, the Primetime Emmy Awards roared back with 13.3 million viewers Sunday night. But the awards show was nevertheless trounced by NBC’s Sunday Night Football (New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys), which averaged 21.67 million viewers. Indeed 18 million was recorded for CBS’s own football overrun at 7:00 p.m. The awards telecast averaged over 14 million viewers for its first two hours but dropped to about 11 million in its final hour – a surprise given the fact that the major trophies are handed out in that hour....

Before he started bashing skulls with his barbed wire bat Lucille on The Walking Dead, Jeffrey Dean Morgan starred in another hit TV series, The CW’s Supernatural, where he played John Winchester, the father of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Back in October, Jensen Ackles initiated a humorous crossover on Twitter, when he reached out to his TV dad Jeffrey Dean Morgan, revealing that they found the bat Lucille in their iconic Chevy Impala, which lead to Jeffrey Dean Morgan telling his TV son that he needs his weapon back....

DC Entertainment announced today they are issuing a script-to-series order for a one-hour live-action drama series entitled Swamp Thing. This new series will debut sometime in 2019 on the upcoming DC streaming service, which was given the official title of DC Universe earlier today. The Swamp Thing series will join the previously-announced Titans, Young Justice: Outsiders and Harley Quinn, with DC Universe releasing new logos for all four shows.
