When It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia premiered on FX on August 4, 2005, nobody could foresee how big the series would become. The series was picked up on a $200 pilot (or less, according to some) and focused on “The Gang,” a group of narcissistic, sociopathic friends that consist of Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), and Dee (Kaitlin Olson) with Dennis and Dee’s father Frank (Danny DeVito) later joining the series....

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a videogame by FromSoftware released in 2019 and served as a followup to FromSoftware’s previous games, 2015’s Bloodbourne, and 2016’s Dark Souls 3, which was the culmination of the Dark Souls trilogy. The game’s plot centers around a loyal but far from perfect shinobi who goes by a few different monikers over the course of the game (including Sekiro) and his quest to rescue and protect the young lord he is sworn to from a very powerful, but also a very corrupt clan of warriors who seek to exploit the young lord’s special power....

Final Fantasy is finally getting a live-action adaptation. Sony Pictures Television has partnered with production company Hivemind and video game developer Square Enix in order to bring the long-running and highly popular video game series to life as a TV show. There is no word yet on how soon we could actually see the show for ourselves, nor is it clear how quickly the studios intend to get production underway. But it’s happening....

It didn’t take long for a Will Ferrell-Mark Wahlberg picture to find a home. According to Variety, Sony Pictures has picked up the spec comedy pitch, The B Team as a starring vehicle for Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. It was reported yesterday that this project was being shopped around to the studios and Sony acted quickly to acquire this project. Frequent Will Ferrell collaborator Adam McKay will direct from a script he’s currently writing with Chris Henchy....

On the heels of Starz’ announcement that the upcoming season, Spartacus: War of the Damned (premiering January 2013) will be the final chapter of the internationally-applauded franchise, stars Liam McIntyre and Manu Bennett will join executive producer/creator, Steven S. DeKnight at San Diego’s Comic-Con for what has been one of the most well-attended and lively panels for the past three years with standing-room only crowds. This summer’s event is sure to be no different as fans will get the very first opportunity to see new footage and hear about the upcoming and final season which DeKnight has promised will be “epic on a scale you will not believe....

Set to arrive in movie theaters this month, Spider-Man: No Way Home has gotten its official rating. The anticipated feature is rated PG-13 for sequences of action/violence, some language, and brief suggestive comments. Of course, it’s not like this rating is a surprise, as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man always seems to get the job done without the need for excessive violence and foul language, but now it’s been made official....

Spider-Man was spotted today in Las Vegas! He is hanging off a ledge of The Venetian Resort~Hotel~Casino overlooking The Strip where he will remain through this weekend (May 5-6). Spider-Man then will move into Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian where he will enjoy an extended stay. “The Spider-Man character is an international celebrity and his fans have requested many times to have us bring him to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas since the wild success of the first Spider-Man film....

Metallica wrapped up day 1 of Lollapalooza with a terrific set, playing some of their greatest hits, including “Master of Puppets,” which has been trending all over the world since featuring in Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4. In an exhilarating performance, Metallica paid tribute to Eddie Munson from Stranger Things, whose actions in the season four finale, set to the tune of “Master of Puppets,” will go down as one of the most sensational TV moments in history....

JON AND KATE PLUS 9.8 MILLION VIEWERS Partly explaining how struggling NBC wound up Monday night with the most viewers on the broadcast networks, it now turns out that the top-rated show of the night was not on broadcast television at all – but on cable. TLC’s 75-minute reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8recorded 9.8 million viewers, 4 million of whom were women 18-49, the target demographic for for the channel....

Way back in December 2014, Syfy confirmed that it’s developing a new TV series entitled Krypton, which will center on Superman’s grandfather. Syfy officially issued a pilot order earlier this year, but today the show has finally added its first cast member with British actress Georgina Campbell coming aboard as the female lead. The actress is playing Lyta Zod, although we don’t know for sure how this character is related to the iconic General Zod....

Halcyon Co. heads Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek have confirmed they are developing a fifth installment in the Terminator franchise. According to Variety, director McG, who directed the upcoming fourth film, Terminator Salvation, is working with the Halcyon duo on the latest project. Announcement was among the news that came out of the Dubai Intl. Film Festival, which bowed Dec. 11 and runs through Thursday. McG was in Dubai for the announcement, despite his well-known fear of flying, which led to him dropping out of the Oz-shot Superman Returns....

In a story from Variety, it looks like Moritz Borman has reached a settlement regarding his lawsuit with his fellow Terminator Salvation producers and their Halcyon Company. No details of the settlement were disclosed. Borman had sued Derek Anderson, Victor Kubicek and Halcyon last month in Los Angeles Superior Court. He alleged fraud and a breach of contract for not paying him his producing fees. He had sought over $160 million in damages....

After some initial concerns amid the chaos of canceling and delaying currently going on at Warner Bros. Pictures, it looks like The Batman 2 is happening with both director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson. With The Dark Knight all set to return, what might The Batman look like when he once again fights crime on the streets of Gotham City? Well, an artist known as @Jaxonderr has taken to Instagram to make some comic book-accurate changes to the cape and cowl....

Get ready to check back in with the Freeman family, as Sony Pictures Animation has announced intentions to revive The Boondocks with series creator Aaron McGruder. The series revival will see the Freemans facing the wrath of Uncle Ruckus, described as an “evil local government tyrant who rules fictional Woodcrest County, Maryland with an iron fist.” While the show originally ran in its entirety on Adult Swim, it isn’t yet clear if this revival will be premiering on the same network or if it will wind up at a new home entirely....

You can go to a galaxy far far away with your favorite stop-motion chicken this July. Robot Chicken: Star Wars will be released on DVD on July 22. The disc will be priced at an economical $14.97 SRP.
