The Bob’s Burgers Movie had this neophyte laughing out loud more often than not. I profess to not seeing a second of the television series before the film. Walking in cold was a pleasant surprise. The wicked double entendres and sharp dialogue kept the humor flowing like a faucet. The musical numbers got old fast but thankfully didn’t detract too much from a swift plot. Fans of the show will not be disappointed....
What could have been a boring, unimaginative remake of a ’70s horror film is instead a smart and scary modern day reinventing of the cult-classic film. Director Breck Eisner, along with screenwriters Scott Kosar, Ray Wright and George A. Romero (who is the horror legend responsible for the original) did something very smart with this film, rather than focusing on the scary-ness of the Zombie creatures they chose to draw suspense from the secret government entity that is controlling the quarantine....

A recently-announced sequel might have hit a new stumbling block. The Associated Press is reporting that Silent Hill 2 screenwriter Roger Avary has been sentenced to a year in jail, stemming from a drunk-driving accident that took the life of a passenger. Avary was arrested after the 2008 crash in Ventura County where his Mercedes crashed into a telephone pole, going in excess of 100 mph. Avary pled guilty in August to gross vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving and, along with his yearlong jail sentence, Avary was sentenced to five years probation....
FX has ordered an extra episode of Sons of Anarchy that will extend the current run of Season 4 to 14 episodes.
