Seven people received injuries in a collision between a bus and several cars during the filming of G.I. Joe in Prague, according to a report from the AFP. Video shows the bus, and then other vehicles, being hit by an all-wheel-drive vehicle that seemed to suffer from braking problems. “It happened in a closed area that was rented out to the filmmakers for the weekend,” said Prague police spokeswoman Eva Brozova....

Tom Welling, best known for playing a young Superman in the TV show Smallville, is set to star in an upcoming action thriller titled Deep Six. Scott Windhauser, who previously worked on the 2020 action film Death in Texas, will write and direct the new project. Per Deadline, production is expected to start in Rome in April. A synopsis for the movie reads, “Terry (Welling) is released early from prison only to be forced to go undercover to take down the Cosa Nostra in Italy....

Song for Cesar is a vibrant musical retrospective of the artists who supported the plight of farm workers in America. It is not specifically a historical documentary about the life of activist Cesar Chavez. But a collection of archival footage, interviews, and recording session concerts from those who were instrumental in spreading his message. It recalls a sweeping grassroots movement that demanded change through non-violent protests. Music was a unifying and empowering force for the subjugated workers fueling the country’s growth....

Speculation about who might be replacing Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man’s webbed costume can now come to an end. Both Maguire and director Sam Raimi will be returning for Spider-Man 4, according to Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood, and they may be set to return for Spider-Man 5 as well. According to the report, the studio is looking to film both films at the same time both for reasons of cost effectiveness and because “it wasn’t so easy to get everybody back together....

Marvel Studios told a very intergalactic story with the Infinity Saga, and while that is set to continue with The Multiverse Saga, there is also a conscious effort to bring some of the storytelling of the MCU back to “street level.” According to Kevin Feige, that real side of the MCU will be led by Spider-Man and Daredevil, and we have already seen some of this street-based drama coming from last year’s Hawkeye....

Actor Stanley Tucci, who can be seen in theaters as Caesar Flickerman in The Hunger Games, has signed on to star in Your Voice in My Head for Warner Bros. and director David Yates. We reported last month that Emma Watson will play the female lead. The project is based on the memoirs of screenwriter Emma Forrest, who begins a downward spiral after her relationship with a famous journalist ends. She is saved from the brink of suicide by a psychiatrist who is terminally ill....

Tales of the Jedi is a new animated Star Wars anthology series. It is a collection of shorts set during the prequel era during which the Jedi still hold a strong presence in the galaxy. The main protagonists of the series are Ahsoka Tano (featuring Ashley Eckstein’s return) and Count Dooku, whose backstories are explored in more depth throughout the new series. Each episode shows both Dooku and Ahsoka on their journeys and the decisions they make along the way to get them where they are in the future....

Blue’s Clues may be one of the most successful children’s shows of all time, and that’s not something former host Steve Burns would have ever predicted.
