If you’ve spent the past 13 seasons of Supernatural waiting for The Winchester Brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) to be turned into animated characters, your long wait is coming to an end with the Supernatural and Scooby-Doo crossover. Following the first-look photos that surfaced yesterday, The CW Network has released the first trailer for this ScoobyNatural crossover, which is slated to debut Thursday, March 29 at 8 PM ET. This trailer not only offers the first footage from this crossover, but reveals how the Winchesters become animated in the first place....

It’s been eight long months since the hit Starz series Ash Vs. Evil Dead wrapped up its second season, and with Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 3 possibly delayed to 2018, it sounds like fans will have quite the wait before Ash and his team returns. New details about The Avengers have immerged from D23, where Walt Disney Pictures has shown two clips from this Marvel Studios superhero ensemble. On hand to introduce these exciting scenes where cast members Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, and Chris Hemsworth. Not much was said by the crew of this anticipated summer of 2012 blockbuster in the making. They were there simply to pull back the curtain on this never-before-seen footage that packed the Anaheim convention center....

Welcome to the 10th annual Hunger Games! Deadline reports that the first round of tribute and mentor characters has been cast for the upcoming The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Jerome Lance will play District 2 tribute Marcus, with Knox Gibson (Forgive Us Our Trespasses) as District 8 tribute Bobbin and Mackenzie Lansing (The Deuce) in the role of Coral, tribute from District 4. Ashley Liao (Fuller House) joins the cast as Clemensia Dovecote, a close friend of Coriolanus Snow and a mentor to a tribute from District 11; Aamar Husain will play Felix Ravinstill, mentor to the second District 11 tribute....

A staple of British cinema during the 1970s and 1970s, the Carry On film franchise’s formula hardly made for Oscar-worthy film-making. Robert Redford will step into the shoes of Brooklyn Dodgers executive Branch Rickey for a new biopic that explores his relationship with pioneering ballplayer Jackie Robinson. Branch Rickey was the man who signed Jackie Robinson to play for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1945, breaking the color barrier as the first African-American player in Major League Baseball. The movie will focus more on the complex relationship between Branch Rickey and Jackie Robinson, than the historical signing....

I was able to speak with Sons of Anarchy star Ron Perlman at a Hollywood event promoting Season 3 of the series and the Sons of Anarchy: Season 2 DVD and Blu-ray sets, which arrive on August 31. Ron Perlman also gave us some updates on some highly-anticipated film projects. Unfortunately for fans of Bubba Ho-Tep, the sequel Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires, where Ron Perlman would play Elvis Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker, doesn’t seem to be moving forward anytime soon....

It’s been a wild ride for fans of the Roseanne revival series and the original show. Series co-creator Roseanne Barr made some racists posts on social media (which have since been removed) and the revival series was swiftly canceled, leaving hundreds without a job, including all of Barr’s long-time and new co-stars. The show has since made a comeback, though it will continue on without Barr. In a recent interview, the comedian claims that she never asked to be “paid off” for the new Roseanne spin-off, which is the opposite of what has been reported....

In his role as The Octopus in Will Eisner’s The Spirit, Samuel L. Jackson is expected to do battle against the film’s titular hero, The Spirit (Gabriel Macht). But as he told SCI FI Wire, fighting on a green screen doesn’t mean that the fight work isn’t still real. “Gabriel and I fight all the time,” Jackson said. “I fight with the Spirit. We had choreographed fights. We did them, and there’s no imagination....

SCI FI Channel has announced it is giving the green light to RelicQuest, a new reality series hosted by documentary filmmaker Bruce Burgess, which will center on the search for history’s greatest relics and artifacts. The one-hour show will premiere in early 2009. RelicQuest is an action and adventure series that travels the globe with Burgess, who guides the viewer in a first-hand exploration down mysterious roads to uncover objects fabled to hold hidden powers and mystical significance for both ancient and modern cultures....

Sesame Street has never been shy about taking on controversial topics. The iconic educational children’s series is now taking on addiction. Elmo has a new friend named Karli and her mom is struggling with addiction of some kind, but we learn that she is working on it by going to meetings everyday with other people who share the same problem. It’s laid out in a way only Sesame Street can deliver and it should go a long way in helping kids who are going through a similar situation at home, or help kids understand and be more tolerate of others who could be struggling....

We have once again entered the era of bestselling young adult books being adapted for the screen, but, this time, they have taken over television. From the Netflix hit Heartstopper to the recent teaser for the Percy Jackson series on Disney+, book lovers have an abundance of choice when it comes to choosing which of their favorite book to film adaptations to stream. One of the best fantasy adaptations of a young adult book series, currently, is the Netflix show Shadow and Bone....

Amongst the various rumors still waiting to be proven or shut down by the arrival of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+ this week, one that still stands unanswered is whether we will se the introduction of Jessica Jones anytime during the MCU series. Director Kat Coiro has addressed the possible inclusion of Jones in the show, which starts this week, but has still left the question of whether a cameo will happen very much unanswered....

Principal photography is set to begin on location in London for the action adventure mystery Sherlock Holmes, being helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie, for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. Robert Downey Jr. brings the legendary detective to life as he has never been portrayed before. Jude Law stars as Holmes’ trusted colleague, Watson, a doctor and war veteran who is a formidable ally for Sherlock Holmes. Rachel McAdams stars as Irene Adler, the only woman ever to have bested Holmes and who has maintained a tempestuous relationship with the detective....
