Saturday Night Live enters its 38th season on September 15 with host Seth MacFarlane. The Emmy Award-winning comedian and Family Guy creator recently directed and lent his voice to the blockbuster feature film, Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. Frank Ocean will also make his SNL debut alongside MacFarlane. Ocean released his studio debut album “Channel Orange,” in July 2012 to widespread critical acclaim. It really doesn’t take much to spark a rumor about Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, so there is no one that will believe The Adam Project and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy didn’t know what he was doing when he shared an image of Mark Ruffalo and Ryan Reynolds with a comment of “Little did I know…”, a Deadpool hashtag and images of both Hulk and Deadpool in attendance. Just like that, fans are now convinced that Ruffalo could be appearing in the new Deadpool movie as the Hulk, and there is nothing going to make them think otherwise until it is categorically proven otherwise....

Disney has released the first two animated shorts in the next wave of Star Wars Forces of Destiny films, which brings back Daisy Ridley as Rey. TOP TALENT AGENCY MAY BOYCOTT PARAMOUNT The head of Hollywood’s leading talent agency has condemned Viacom chief Sumner Redstone’s castigating comments about Tom Cruise and has suggested that the agency may now refuse to do business with Viacom’s Paramount studios. TO PROBE KID NATION The growing controversy over CBS’s reality show Kid Nation, has prompted the New Mexico attorney general to reopen an investigation into whether CBS and the show’s producers violated child-labor laws and other welfare rules. DC Studios co-chief James Gunn is gearing up for the latest installment of Superman. Ever since Castiel was introduced in Season 4 of Supernatural after he gripped Dean “tight” and raised him “from perdition,” moments between Heaven’s angel and the hardened hunter were often peppered with hints that alluded that they share more than just a mere bromance. The horror sequel The Conjuring 4 is in the works. The Hollywood Reporter has divulged that the movie will move forward with a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who penned the upcoming superhero sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and co-wrote the original film. Johnson-McGoldrick is also a Conjuring vet, having written The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the past two installments of the main series....
What would life have been like for Hillary Clinton if the former presidential hopeful never married Bill? That’s a question that will hypothetically be answered in an upcoming “alternate history” project based on the former first lady of the United States. Merely called Rodham – referring to Secretary Clinton’s unique middle name – the series is directly inspired by the book of the same name by author Curtis Sittenfeld. Imagining a completely different life for Clinton, Rodham the potential series is now in early development at Hulu, though the Disney-owned streamer will still need to put in a series order before the project can move out of the scripting stage....

Sony plans to move forward with an unusual seeming superhero film starring Seth Rogen. Rogen will star in (and co-write) The Green Hornet, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly. The star of Knocked Up is writing the script with frequent writing partner Evan Goldberg. The Green Hornet is actually Britt Reid, a playboy who inherits his father’s newspaper and then fights crime with his sidekick Kato. In an unusual move, the Hornet is considered by both the authorities and members of the underworld to be a crime boss himself, which allows Reid to pursue some crime-fighting tactics closed off to most vigilantes....
