Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been another triumph for Disney+, even if some people still won’t admit it. While the production was hampered by reports that it was “a mess,” for those who have been willing to forget that this is not some big screen, multiverse-spanning action movie and enjoy it for the silly comedy it is meant to be, it has been an enjoyable series. One thing that has added to the fun is the frivolous way the series has been able to throw in numerous nods to the X-Men and Fantastic Four in a way that normal MCU projects cannot....

Nearly one year after HBO issued a pilot order for Bad Robot’s Westworld, the project has added its first two cast members with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood coming on board. James Marsden is also in talks for a lead role, but he has not signed on yet. The project is based on the 1973 film Westworld, which starred Yul Brynner, Richard Benjamin and James Brolin, centering on a futuristic amusement park that allows rich vacationers to live out their wildest fantasies through robots that will provide them anything they want....

According to Variety, Fox has tapped Skip Woods (Swordfish) to adapt its feature version of vidgame Hitman, with Vin Diesel toplining. The studio picked up the Eidos vidgame franchise in June from producers Chuck Gordon and Adrian Askarieh. Diesel will exec produce and Daniel Alter will serve in a producing capacity. The story centers on an international assassin, known as Agent 47, who works for a mysterious org dubbed the Agency....

With many studios on rocky ground when it comes to how and when to release their big movies, Paramount have made another unexpected move even by pandemic standards by announcing the release of Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins to digital and on-demand services will be tomorrow on August 17th, only 25 days after it released exclusively in theaters. While most movies premiering in cinemas without a dual release on a streaming platform have an exclusive 45 days before they air elsewhere, but now Paramount have bucked that particular short-lived trend with one of their first movies to attempt the strategy lasting less than half the exclusive period....

The cast for FX’s Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC keeps getting bigger and bigger, and now they’ve finally found their lead actor. JD Pardo (Revolution) has signed on to star as the series lead EZ Reyes on Mayans MC, which we reported earlier this week will start production next month. With filming slated to begin soon, we’ll likely have many more casting announcements coming in the weeks ahead. Deadline broke the casting news earlier today, with JD Pardo joining a cast that includes Edward James Olmos, John Ortiz and Clayton Cardenas....

As one of the first major film adaptations of the beloved comic book superhero Spider-Man, Sam Raimi had a lot to live up to. It’s been more than 20 years since the release of the first movie in the trilogy, but it still hasn’t lost its importance. Playing the character of Peter Parker, Tobey Maguire marked a really significant shift in popular media by effectively starting the Spider-Man franchise. Indeed, the franchise had two more successors in later years: one played by Andrew Garfield, and the more recent by Tom Holland....

You can bring home a new film showing Ashton Kutcher like you’ve never seen him before on DVD and Blu-ray this November. Spread will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 10. The standard DVD version will be priced at $29.98 SRP and the Blu-ray edition will be priced at $34.98 SRP. The film stars Ashton Kutcher, Anne Heche and Margarita Levieva. In SPREAD, Nikki (Ashton Kutcher) isn’t a gigolo....

Perhaps the live-action return of Janeway in the Star Trek universe is something that could become a reality. Previously, Kate Mulgrew starred as Captain Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek: Voyager from 1995 to 2001. More recently, Mulgrew reprised the role by voicing an animated Janeway, now a Starfleet Admiral, in the Nickelodeon cartoon series Star Trek: Prodigy. Meanwhile, the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard has brought back many original cast members from The Next Generation to join lead star Patrick Stewart....

There are SPOILERS ahead for Cobra Kai, so read at your own risk. As far as villains from the 1980s are concerned, Martin Kove’s John Kreese from The Karate Kid is one of the best. Kove’s performance was so real, that many believe he’s like that in real life, which is hardly the case. The 72-year old actor makes a brief appearance in the new YouTube Red series Cobra Kai, setting up a very intriguing second season that has just been officially confirmed by the streaming service....

TBS has picked up Twentieth Century Fox Television’s animated hit American Dad! as an original series, beginning with the show’s 11th season. Created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, American Dad will join TBS’s primetime lineup in late 2014. Sister network Adult Swim is set to present encores of each episode after initial airings on TBS. American Dad, which will begin its 10th season on the FOX television network this fall, is executive-produced by MacFarlane, Barker and Weitzman....

We have our first official look at That ’90s Show. A sequel series that serves as a follow-up to That ’70s Show, Netflix’s spinoff brings back Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp to reprise their beloved roles as Red and Kitty Forman. As you can see in the first look image above, some things never change, even if the decades do. Smith and Rupp also serve as executive producers on That ’90s Show....

While we continue to wait patiently for the arrival of The Batman, you can now listen to the haunting main theme. Released by director Matt Reeves via Twitter, the theme has been written by composer Michael Giacchino, with Reeves revealing that it was written before he “ever shot a frame” of the movie, and that it gave him “chills.” No doubt it will bring out the same reaction in you too....

People are obsessed with wealth and rich people. It’s a tale as old as time with regular people getting a glance into the lives and relationships of the uber-rich thanks to television series and movies. Some of the best films and series about rich people absolutely skewer and roast the heck out of the wealthy and, as a result, are great fun whether the show or movie is a drama like Succession or a comedy like Maya Rudolph’s Loot....

Today, Disney+ debuted the exciting, action-packed trailer and brand-new key art for The Book of Boba Fett, a new series from Lucasfilm, launching exclusively on the streaming service on December 29. The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate....

The first season of Diabolical featured several different writers and directors, ensuring that each episode had its own feel and look. After impressing audiences with his performance in RRR, actor NTR Jr. is hoping to get a call from Kevin Feige. Directed by S. S. Russell Crowe has signed on to make his directorial debut with an untitled biopic on the iconic comedian Bill Hicks. The actor’s high school classmate, Mark Staufer, will write the screenplay.
