Small and lightweight, these new handheld camera devices will allow Marc Webb to shoot with a flexibility and mobility never before utilized in a superhero movie, which is perfect for Peter Parker’s web-slinging ability....

The Batman will be making some significant changes to the Bruce Wayne persona, as star Robert Pattinson describes the billionaire’s decision to dress like a giant bat and beat bad guys as “almost like a drug addiction.” With The Batman taking place so early in Wayne’s unorthodox career, the idea of the playboy has not yet come to fruition, with Pattinson explaining to GQ that he will instead be portraying a very “sad” version of the DC character, who the actor calls a “weirdo....

Starz announced today that they will move forward with Spartacus: Blood and Sand, producing a second season despite having lost their leading man Andy Whitfield. Whitfield dropped out of the popular action series last year after being diagnosed with cancer so that he could undergo prolonged treatment for the illness. Starz is looking to shoot Season 2 of Spartacus: Blood and Sand this spring, with an eye to launch it sometime in 2012....

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller have revealed some startling and exciting details regarding the upcoming animated sequel while appearing at CinemaCon 2022. Shared by Collider’s Steven Weintraub, Lord and Miller announced that the Sony follow-up will include “240 characters” and the story will take place “in 6 universes.” If that were not already enough to communicate the scale of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, they also revealed that 1000 people are working on the sequel, which will see Miles Morales explore the multiverse like never before....

Spike TV has coughed up around $12 million to buy an exclusive five-year license to all 257 half-hour episodes of Married with Children from Sony Pictures TV, which will begin airing in September. According to Variety, the network also revealed some additional details about its previously reported purchase of updated repeats of Unsolved Mysteries, including the fact that there’ll be 175 re-edited hours of the series in the five-year exclusive contract and that the episodes will be available on Spike....
