The Paramount Network has released a new red band trailer for the highly-anticipated new series Heathers, based on the cult classic film of the same name. While there isn’t any nudity or R-rated language in this trailer, it certainly is risque, and gives us a new look at the mysterious character played by Shannen Doherty, the only original Heathers cast member to return for the series, and Selma Blair as Jade, while teasing what could be a pretty big spoiler....

The sequel to 2019 hit Shazam! is not due to hit theaters until next summer, but director David F. As expected, the first full look at the design of Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk brought out many opinions about Marvel Studios’ debut of the latest comic book character to arrive in the MCU. Many fans focused on the series’ CGI, while some resurrected gripes about Bruce Banner still being Smart Hulk and not his former raging green brute, and others were quick to air disappointment at She-Hulk’s design. When it comes to the last of these points, it looks like the original plans for She-Hulk did include a more beefed-up physique, but this was changed during production....

The world is still mourning the loss of Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at age 80 after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Alex Trebek’s final episodes as host of Jeopardy! are scheduled to air Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 8. But they were taped in November. The executive producer of the show, Mike Richards, recently revealed that the iconic host battled on at work until the very end of filming, despite being in enormous pain the whole time....

IMAX Corporation and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced that Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man 3 shattered multiple box office records at IMAX theatres through its opening weekend, contributing a record-setting $4.8 million of the $148 million that the film grossed at the domestic box office, from May 4, through Sunday, May 6. The picture also broke the record for IMAX’s largest single day worldwide total at $2.2 million and posted a remarkable domestic opening weekend per screen average of $57,147....

Spike TV has acquired a pair of drama pilots that put the men’s network in business with TV veterans Frank Spotnitz and Vince Gilligan and feature film screenwriter James DeMonaco, says Variety . The cable network is in final negotiations to greenlight production on Spotnitz and Gilligan’s Amped, an event series about a mysterious epidemic that hits Los Angeles, and DeMonaco’s The Kill Pit, about a bank heist gone awry, chronicled in real time....

Spike TV has ordered 10 one-hour episodes of the alternative/reality series Murder from reality innovator Bunim-Murray Productions, set to premiere in the Summer of 2007. Following in the dramatic tradition of CSI and Law and Order, Murder is an unscripted series in which amateur sleuths try to correctly solve a real homicide pulled directly from police files. Each episode of Murder begins with series host, 20-year Arlington, TX law enforcement veteran with multiple capital murder convictions, Detective Tommy Le Noir escorting two groups of civilians into an exact replica crime scene pulled from the files of an existing homicide case....

Funnyman Ricky Gervais is lending his voice to the family action adventure Spy Kids: All the Time in the World and will be featured as the outrageous robot spy dog, Argonaut. Gervais joins the talented ensemble cast which includes Jessica Alba (Machete), Jeremy Piven (Entourage), Joel McHale (TV’s Community and The Soup) and young stars Rowan Blanchard (TV’s Dancelot Robot) and Mason Cook (Treasure Buddies).
