Speed Racer is zooming back onto the small screen. According to Variety, Lionsgate is planning on producing a new version of the 1960s’ cartoon. It will air on Nickelodeon’s twenty-four hour cartoon channel Nicktoons. Lionsgate plans on making twenty-six new episodes. They will launch next year in conjunction with the big screen version of the property. Ahead of their characters reuniting in the Law & Order universe, former Special Victims Unit co-stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay got together and posted a fun photo on Instagram teasing their upcoming television reunion. When SVU first premiered on television in 1999, Meloni and Hargitay shined as lead characters Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson, with the two characters expertly working together to take down New York’s most perverted criminals. Meloni departed the series after its 12th season, but Hargitay has remained on the show ever since, with the long-running drama still going very strong after 21 seasons....

Star Trek 2 has already been slated for release on July 29, 2012, even though the script isn’t completed yet. The sudden passing of legendary voiceover artist Kevin Conroy still has many in mourning with fans and friends of the Batman actor continuing to post tribute messages online. Tara Strong, also a prolific voiceover artist, had often worked with Conroy on a variety of DC projects, sometimes joining his Batman as Batgirl, Harley Quinn, and other characters. She was also a close friend of Conroy and spent a lot of time with him at fan conventions and other special events....
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film franchise has featured several villains in its seven films. Covering both the animated and live-action fields, the villains are usually strong, smart, or both when taking on the heroes in a half-shell. Some of these enemies are taken straight from the pages of the comics; some were first introduced in the old-school cartoon series, and some are wholly original. Either way, the franchise has depicted some creative enemies, as well as some vicious and powerful martial artists to oppose the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles....
