Rockmond Dunbar is leaping into the producer and director’s chair with the indie drama Pastor Brown. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pastor Brown is a twist on the prodigal son story. It has just been revealed who will play Arnold Schwarzenegger’s former iconic character. According to Clinton News-Record, former Austrian bodybuilder Roland Kickinger will play the T-800 (the same model that Schwarzenegger portrayed in all three previous films) in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. Netflix has released a teaser for Russian Doll that confirms new episodes will be on their way sometime in the near future. This video is also stuck on a permanent time loop as it repeats the words, ‘Did you get the news? Vulture is reporting that Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) was taken off the list of Oscar presenters at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards because one of the broadcast’s producers thought he might offend nominee for Best Director James Cameron. Apparently, an Avatar sketch planned by Baron Cohen and Ben Stiller was nixed by show producer Bill Mechanic. A source close to Vulture says that: Mechanic was head of Twentieth Century Fox when Cameron’s Titanic was made there....

It may not be the most popular of the countless ’90s teen romantic comedies, but She’s All That remains a well-loved fixture in its genre’s history. The R. Lee Fleming film, allegedly ghost-written by none other than M. Night Shyamalan, the 1999 film draws inspiration from George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. Though a fairly loose adaptation of the source material ( in truth it is more akin to My Fair Lady, another Pygmalian adaptation), She’s All That takes a classic and maybe predictable premise and presents it in a modern context for a teen and young adult audience....

Jennifer Lopez is back on the big screen with Shotgun Wedding, a romantic comedy with a heavy emphasis on action. The film features a star-studded cast, with a trailer full of laughs and one big twist. Shotgun Wedding comes from Jason Moore, the director behind the beloved 2012 comedy Pitch Perfect. The NBC hit musical series Smash will return to the network’s lineup midseason of next year, but fans won’t be seeing four familiar faces in Season 2. Series regulars Jaime Cepero, Raza Jaffrey, Brian d’Arcy James, and recurring actor Will Chase have all been cut from the show. Jaime Cepero, who played the conniving assistant Ellis, and Raza Jaffrey, who portrayed Dev, the boyfriend of Katharine McPhee’s Karen, may possibly be back for one or two episodes next year, just to wrap up their storylines, though that has not been confirmed at this time....

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) President David Bishop today announced, as part of the company’s first quarter Blu-ray line-up, that Bond will be making his way to Blu-ray with the much anticipated release of Casino Royale on March 13. Casino Royale, starring Bond newcomer Daniel Craig, grossed more than $400 million at the box office worldwide and will debut on a 50GB dual-layer disc encoded in MPEG-4 AVC. The return of former Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, along with the likes of Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx in Spider-Man: No Way Home, has created a huge surge in rentals and streaming numbers of older Spider-Man movies released by Sony in the last two decades. The popular animated series Steven Universe is getting its own movie, which is titled Steven Universe: The Movie. The announcement was made today at San Diego Comic-Con where they also debuted the teaser trailer for the animated feature that will premiere on the Cartoon Network.
